How the Readiness Level Is Calculated

The QuickScan asks 21 questions, three in each of seven pillars. Each answer earns 0 to 3 points: No / not in place = 0; Partly / informal = 1; Mostly in place = 2; Yes / established and documented = 3.

Each pillar score is its points divided by 9, multiplied by 100. The overall score is total points divided by 63, multiplied by 100 and rounded. Each pillar has equal weight.

Readiness Levels

Early Stage: 0–24. Developing: 25–49. Foundational: 50–69. Managed: 70–84. Mature: 85–100.

Unknowns and a Score of 100

“Not sure” receives 0 points and is flagged as an unknown to verify, rather than silently treated as a definite “No.” Selecting the highest answer for all 21 questions produces 100. That means you reported the measured practices as established and documented; it does not independently verify them or eliminate risk.

Readiness Level is directional and based on self-reported information — it supports discussion and prioritization, not certification or compliance determination.
